Project Bike: 1987 Trek Elance 330
Posted: October 28, 2009 at 12:36 amRyan, our resident photographer just picked up a 1987 Trek Elance 330 which needs a fair amount of TLC in order to get on the road. The frame itself is in good shape, the rest is hit or miss.
We’re going to do a series on its restoration with the end goal of having a reliable road bike at a reasonable cost. Our hope is to show how you can get in to the saddle of a road bike for a little green while avoiding a bike from a department store. This will be the first in what will hopefully be a regular feature.
