New Year’s Biking Resolutions?

2010 is fast approaching, and with a new year comes new resolutions.  Many velonuts out there will be making resolutions about biking.  Mine is to enter a bona-fide race.  I’m already registered for a brevet, but that’s not really a race.  I want to enter a road race, something that will take me way outside my comfort zone and force me to train hard.  This will probably involve me getting a new bike, so that might be a good first goal.

A few ideas if you need them:

  • Start biking to work, or bike more
  • Take a cycle camping trip
  • Finally get that dusty old 10-speed down to the bike shop to get it worked on
  • Buy a new bike completely
  • Work on getting a friend or family member to ride with you.

So, what are your biking resolutions for 2010?

I plan to try and commute at least once a week. Need to get my bike fixed first tho.
